Things she collected on our walk a few days ago. I really need to get back on top of photographing her nature treasures. It always makes me so happy to see what catches her eye. Like that stick. She pointed at it and said GIRAFFE! I would have walked right past it, but you know? She’s right. It does look like a giraffe.

Ha—It does! I’m not even big into photography (it was my least favorite round in art school), but I have so many pretty much useless pictures of the basket of things my son collects on our nature walks. I say useless because I will never do anything with them, but for some reason, I can’t stand the thought of NOT snapping pictures before we toss them back out at the end of our walk.
