Ah, thank you Ashley =)
I love reading your posts like this. Charlotte is just adorable and I love the way you interact. I know you’re not perfect, but I do want to tell you that you are an inspiration. I hope to be a mom like you when my little one arrives!
~BeeKindness breeds patient, thoughtful humans; Charlotte demonstrates that in many different situations which you share so succinctly.
Thank you, Sarah.
this is how my girls ALWAYS ended up after paining, covered in it! In fact, savannah used to even color her whole body esp. her face with markers too. she LOVED the feel of it, she’s still a hands on messy girl at 12.5, she loves texture….
I LOVE that you did this with her!
and ADORABLE PICTURES!!!!
she’s precious!tara
Tara - She even got paint on her back! It’s amazing how messy they can get with the right motivation =)
I love that your 12 year old is still hands-on and okay with getting messy. I remember being the same way, but so many kids I meet who are even Charlotte’s age don’t want to get their hands or their bodies too messy. I don’t understand! How can you not?! IT’S FUN!!
Kids love to explore and parents should let them have it, just keep your eyes on them. Kids are very curious, they really are, they really love to know more about certain things or how do to it. In the process it can be messy but parents should have that patience when it happens. They are just kids who want to have fun. I think your daughter is lucky to have you as a mom.
You have an adorable girl here and talented as well. It’s a good thing she’s exploring her talent at an early age. As a parent, you just have to support your kids in everything they love to do. You have a great way of motivation.
Really sweet! I was very amused about her talent. She can paint! I don’t have that talent and I am old. But she is just a kid.
Just continue developing her skills and she will be what she wanted to be in the future.
Very talented girl!
