Sith lord in training.

Every evening, the three of us take Hank for a walk.  And no matter what, this is how Charlotte spends that time.  She could have spent the last six hours dead to the world or she could have not slept a wink since daybreak, WHO KNOWS, but as soon as I stuff her in the wrap and start screeching at my dog to stop chasing squirrels?  She’s out like a light.

Which means, of course, that she is always angelic and peacefully, blissfully asleep when we stop by the grandparents’ house on our way home.  In fact, I think my father called it “the good part of being grandparents ON STEROIDS.“

Hey! I had an olive green Moby wrap! We loved it! In fact Erin slept in it more than anywhere else in the first couple of weeks. She wouldn’t even sleep in her bed. We had to sleep sitting up on the lounge with her in the wrap - not that I’m complaining :) I kind of miss that now.

Your parents must think she’s a perfect angel.  When, in fact, YOU KNOW BETTER. ;)

It was the dead of winter on the tundra when the Buddha was a newborn, which meant I couldn’t take her outside, so I used to put her in the Moby, take three laps around the house, and she’d be out.  I swear, they should make Mobys big enough to for adults to sleep in.  Not sure who would carry us though.  A race of giants?

I’m sorry.  I’ll stop now.  It’s been that kind of day.

Love the Moby!  I have a black one, but wish I had gotten blue.  Nicholas would only sleep while being held for about the first 8 weeks, and we didn’t have an infant car seat—he went straight into a convertible seat.  So my Moby definitely saved me, both around the house and out-and-about!  I only wish I had started using it from the first few days.  At first I was intimidated by the wrapping and getting him and out, and he ate so frequently (and I had to pump so much) in the first month, it seemed like too much of a hassle.

I can’t believe it I have 29 updates for you in my RSS reader.  I am so far behind.

I have a blue Moby.  Lily hated it as a newborn, she likes it much better now.

    I love this picture.
