sounds pretty perfect to me too, glad you are having a good time.
when can we spend the night???? ;)This weekend my husband and I were sitting on the sofa just watching TV and the baby was having an in-utero dance party. Without saying anything I put my husband’s hand where the baby was moving. It was the first time he could feel the baby moving and every time he could he would giggle. Sweetest thing I have ever heard! Made me love him so much more :)
The best part of my weekend was popping the baby in the sling and wandering through the local farmers’ market. It was a beautiful, crisp, early-fall-feeling day, the tables were piled with beautifully colored vegetables, my husband and I were laughing and talking, and there was homemade butter pecan ice cream to be had.
Later on, we had a cookout at a friend’s house, and that was likewise the best.
I just had a really awesome weekend. :D
the whole darn thing! I met up with a group of women who all came to know each other through an infertility online support group. We all live in different states / places…but this is the FOURTH year that we have put aside a weekend to travel and be together. This year it was on Long Island in wine country. Beautiful weather, amazing women / friends, gorgeous surroundings…who could ask for more? And, my Peanut got to have a special daddy-daughter weekend filled with a major league baseball game AND tea parties. PERFECTION!
Coloring princess pictures and eating a snack on the sunny front porch with my baby girl. :)
so sweet!
having a dessert party at our house last night and spending time with my family was the best part of the weekend!
That is such a sweet picture :) The happiest part of my weekend was finally seeing Nate (13 months) overcome his frustration and struggles and finally master walking! In a blink of an eye he went from 2 to 3 steps at a time to wobbling across the entire room at super speed. So exciting!
i want to have breakfast at your place!
spending time with my husband after work was the happiest time of my weekend.Thank you for painting such an adorable picture. I loved this.
And since you asked, my weekend was awesome. My sister and her boyfriend came to visit from South Carolina. My youngest sister lives up the road from me, which meant all of us were together for the weekend. We did the beach, Joe cooked an enormous dinner (inspired by all the great foods of Buffalo) and then we walked to get ice cream at my favorite little neighborhood ice cream shop. Pretty much, I laughed hysterically all weekend. My sister and her boyfriend are very funny.

The happiest part of my weekend was seeing my 10-month old son finally playing and interacting with his 21-month old twin cousins. He was giggling at them and crawling after them and using their clothes to help him stand up next to them…. It brought a small glimpse into what the future will hold: The three musketeers playing together and being inseparable.
Even better yet, the next day when we asked my son where his cousins were, he crawled over to his photo book and opened to the page with their photo, and gently rubbed his finger on their faces.
SO CUTE!!!!!
