Foolproof.
January 16, 2012

I have finally found a surefire way to get a nap longer than forty minutes out of Charlotte.  As soon as she starts acting a little tired, I put something on the floor (in this picture it’s a bobby pin) and I challenge her to jump over it seven million times.

Works like a charm.  Twenty minutes later, that kid is out like a light and she stays out for two or more hours.  BOO-YAH!

Adorable!  Our foolproof plan is to walk the perimeter of Target.  This is, of course, our contingency plan if naps are not forthcoming.

I love it! At my sister’s I bet my niece and nephew they couldn’t run from one end of the house to the other x amount of times. They have a long hallway and those two would go back and forth until they dropped on the couch and calmed down a bit. It wasn’t enough for a nap (since they’re older) but it helped give them something to do!
