I love…
March 24, 2009

-  The first ten minutes of a hot bath.
-  Being married to Donald.
-  Understanding cultural differences.
-  The laughter of children at play.
-  Experimenting in the kitchen.
-  Speaking French.
-  Photographs.
-  Watching this baby grow.
-  Wind blowing when my hair is down.
-  Selecting the “perfect” birthday card.
-  Jim Croce songs.
-  Wearing thick, comfortable socks.
-  The smell of a baby.
-  Taking Hank for long walks.
-  Flipping the pages of an old book.
-  Spending hours in bookshops and libraries.
-  The quilts my grandmother made.
-  Stories.
-  The feel of clean sheets when I get into bed.
-  Daydreaming.
-  The color green.
-  Wearing new lingerie for the first time.
-  Reading letters and e-mails from family and friends.
-  That my husband is a geek.
-  All three of my lazy cats.
-  Writing myself into an oblivion.
-  Creating pointless lists.

I didn’t know you have three cats!  And that you speak French, very cool!  Oh -and I’m with you on the bath thing, after the first 10 minutes it’s all downhill from there.

Hey Sarah! I found your blog while googling my name (so self-centered, I know!) Love the design of the site.. hope you keep it up; I need to get back to blogging, myself. Hope you and Donald are doing well; say hi to him for me!

I’m THRILLED to see you blogging. I already have the privilege of knowing you before and now I am addicted to reading your posts. I’m introducing you to the masses because The Masses NEED you. They just don’t know it yet.

I also love lists. I love making lists to cross things off my list. Of course, you know this. Also on my list: Slideshows that refuse to act like all the other .swf files in their class. Sending to principals office.

    Aaaahh!! Yes.

And, FYI, I got the dress at Ross! It is my new favorite place because we’re hella broke and it’s super cheap. Aaaah.

Beautiful and not pointless at all! PS I have a “lovey” that I snuggle with at night- a quilt made by my great-grandmother, I love how it feels so much!

I think this list is awesome and has me thinking of my list in my head!  I, too, love spending hours surrounded by books!  I think more so for the quiet than the books :)

Thank you for this little ray of sunshine.  Having a crappy day and this brightened it up.

I love Jim Croce songs too!

And Stephanie: Aint no shame in rockin a Ross frock. I love Ross almost as much as I love Jim Croce.
