Sevilla building blocks, created by HABA.
January 06, 2011

A year ago, Donald made Charlotte a small set of wood blocks.  As she gets older and is increasingly interested in playing with her blocks, we’ve noticed that it’s about time we added to her collection.  While we were looking around for inspiration at HABA-owned Maukilo, I found out this set of creative stacking blocks.  There are several different sets - Amsterdam, Cordoba, Sakrada - but my favorite is Sevilla.  Lovely to build with, inventive to look at, safe to play with.  A mother really couldn’t ask for more.

Wish I’d thought of it first, actually.

my parents bought Alice the “Cordoba” set. and honestly, it’s NEVERENDING fun. you can build SO many different castles, forts, mansions, bridges.. well, you know..
and they’re also a good addition to regular wooden blocks.
i also like the fact that some of the blocks rattle, or shine, or have a mirror on them !
