Third dress.
October 01, 2009

I know that some people with daughters go to great lengths to avoid pink and frills and typical girl stereotypes.  Not me.  When Donald told me that I’d given birth to a girl, my reaction was to break out the bows and have a laundry party.  Every time I put Char in a dress, my heart sings.  I know that one day the two of us will fight, but for now, I love having a daughter.  And I love these little dresses and the frills and bows and all the pink that goes along with little girls.

I did the same, with pink & frills & bows & dresses!

unfortunately, ever since Maia learned how to crawl, she FREAKS OUT if I put her in a dress—it gets caught under her knees and she can’t move as fast as she wants to!  I can’t wait for her to start walking so I can put her in dresses again.

Charlotte’s growing up so beautifully.  Can’t believe it’s been 2 months already.

Tatiana - My husband’s grandmother mentioned that she had the same problem with her girls.  I’ll just have to hope the crawling phase doesn’t last long.  Little dresses on girls who are learning to walk - with those chubby little ankles - are to die for!
