Useless critter.

Lately, we have found Sebastian in all sorts of strange locations.  I have just about given up convincing him that he belongs in the bottom 24” of our house.  JUST ABOUT.  Not quite completely.

Good luck convincing ANY cat that they aren’t the ones in charge.

That wallpaper you are scrapping off the wall looks just like the stuff I scrapped off the dining room wall in our Corpus Christi TX house many years ago. That house was built in 1943, and the wallpaper was the original. There were two coats of paint and another layer of wallpaper over it.

CatCat jumps onto my desk and peers down at the keyboard shelf until I move everything but the keyboard and even then her back legs and tail drape over the left side of said keyboard. She will often hit the spacebar and advance whatever I am reading by a page or three while I wonder what has happened!

I now have a wireless laser mouse; when I had a corded mouse I used to run it over her long silky calico fur and she worked perfectly well as a mouse pad. Somewhere I have a picture of that exact scenario-maybe blank cards with some cute cat/mouse wordplay and that pic on the front…hmmmm.

Sarah, you have a wonderful family, a world-class spouse, and yes, perhaps the very cutest baby around. I tend a 13-month old who was born at home last summer—next door!! Hello-who loves babies more than food? Piper rates as pretty special too.

Thanks for sharing your daily life in words and pics with us.
