As Charlotte has grown, she’s given up napping in carriers.  Most of the time, she sacks out draped across my chest, my nipple in her mouth.  So imagine my delight when she fell asleep in the sling the other day.

Of course, all good things must come to an end.  But it’s nice to have little glimpses her infancy, when she snoozed in carriers all the time.  I know that babywearing is not for everyone, but every time Charlotte falls asleep wrapped against Donald’s chest or in a sling with her face against my breast, I cannot help but feel tremendously glad that I gave it a try.

I love your blog and your daughter is so cute!! Babywearing intrigues me, but I’m not sure that I understand exactly what it entails. Perhaps you could explain???

So sweet!  My babies are too big to wear anymore but sometimes my son (20 months) will sleep on my shoulder and I love it.  I still love watching them sleep.

@Jenn - babywearing is what you make of it.  Usually it’s wearing them instead of using a stroller when you go somewhere.  There are tons of different carriers/slings to choose from and it’s just wanting to be close to your baby as much as possib.e
